Today, with so many different fuel options available it’s imperative to select the right hose based on your fuel needs. Consumers have grown accustom to buying CPE rubber inner tube hose and aluminum fittings for their fuel lines but some mixtures and additives lessen the performance advantages of rubber hoses and change the rubber compound characteristics.

Aeroquip Performance offers Teflon hoses and a matching fitting line that meet the market's needs. Hoses are available in -3, -4, -6, and -8 size and the engineered fittings are available in both a crimp and reusable style and available in straight, 45º and 90º degree configurations.
In using Teflon versus a CPE rubber hose for fuel applications, the installer should keep in mind a few things. The product can be somewhat stiffer, the fittings can be slightly heavier and the installer will need to add a compression sleeve during assembly.
